Croydon Council has an ambitious £250 million programme to deliver 1,000 high quality and characterful homes. We are working with the Borough’s delivery company Brick by Brick Development on 3 different schemes, Shrublands (featured here), Kingsdown Avenue and Tollers Lane.

Shrublands (left) is an infill scheme proposing three new residential buildings that sit as pavilions in an enhanced landscape setting. The pavilions follow the urban character of the area. Providing 26 new and affordable homes, the buildings feature distinct rooflines and full width balconies that offer generous amenity spaces, positioned for sunlight and views.

Kingsdown Avenue is located on the steep slope of Purley Vale providing each of our 34 dwellings with expansive views. Our proposal sensitively responds to this hillside context and draws on neighbouring typologies, carving an ensemble of terraced apartment blocks and generously proportioned detached houses into the landscape.

Our Tollers Lane scheme stitches 40 high quality homes and a community centre into the existing neighbourhood. The dwellings range from two-storey homes to three-storey apartment blocks. The new buildings frame communal gardens and re-define large underused amenity providing social opportunities for the whole community.
