Spatial systems for society

Date: January 2025

This keynote lecture followed the Architectural Association School of Architecture's MArch Jury for the Housing and Urbanism Taught Postgraduate Programme. The lecture explores spatial systems at different scales, from the city as ecosystem to the cellular structure of the home as explored in the work of Mæ. Director Alex Ely illustrates ideas for city plans, neighbourhood structures and urban types through to the spatial richness of the home demonstrated in recent housing projects by the practice.
